From the production line to the coating fluid, Junhe ensures the stability of brake disc coating

In the field of brake disc coating, the intelligence level of equipment is getting higher and higher, but what truly determines coating stability and long-term operational performance is often not just the equipment itself. The coating fluid is the core medium running through the entire coating system. If the production line defines the "upper limit of production capacity", then the coating fluid determines whether the line can operate long-term, stably, and at a low cost.

Coating fluid is not just a "material", but part of the process system

Brake disc coating has distinct industry-specific requirements for coatings: stable anti-corrosion performance, uniform coating layer, consistent appearance, adaptability to different disc types and spraying methods, and resistance to beat changes and long-term operation. This means that brake disc coating fluid is not a simple chemical material, but a system element deeply integrated with equipment, processes, and production beats. A truly mature brake disc coating fluid must be "production line-friendly": compatible with automated and intelligent spraying rhythms, adaptable to multi-variety, flexible production scenarios, and able to maintain a stable application window during high-efficiency operation.

As brake disc coating enters the intelligent manufacturing stage, with faster production beats and more precise process control, higher requirements are placed on the application stability of coating fluids. An excellent brake disc coating fluid should feature: good application adaptability to reduce the impact of process fluctuations, stable film-forming performance to ensure batch-to-batch consistency, and a favorable physical property window to lower commissioning and maintenance costs. Only when the coating fluid is highly matched with the production line can coating quality be truly "guaranteed by the system rather than relying on experience".

Based on an understanding of the long-term operational rules of brake disc coating, the value of brake disc coating fluid should not be limited to merely "meeting indicators". In practical applications, the real test of a coating fluid is not its short-term effect, but whether it can maintain stable performance under different production line conditions, production beats, and product structures. Against this backdrop, Junhe has always developed coating fluids from the overall perspective of the coating system — not as an independent material, but as a vital component serving intelligent and flexible production lines.

Junhe Brake Disc Coating Fluid
JUNHE® 310G Water-Based Zinc-Based Coating Metal Anti-Corrosion Coating Fluid

This is a chromium-free coating fluid developed to meet the automotive industry’s anti-corrosion requirements for brake discs, designed for high-frequency induction heating applications. It adopts an advanced technical formula and high-quality imported raw materials (Patent No.: ZL2003101061714), contains no harmful heavy metals such as chromium, mercury, lead, or cadmium, improves efficiency, saves energy consumption, enables intelligent operation, and reduces on-site construction personnel.

I. Product Overview

The coating fluid consists of three components: A, B, and C.

  • Component A: A silver-gray paste mainly composed of ultra-fine flake zinc, aluminum, and water-soluble organic additives.
  • Component B: An additive component of the coating fluid, an aqueous solution mainly containing anti-corrosion additives and special regulators.
  • Component C: A thickening component of the coating fluid, a white to yellowish powder with cellulose as the main ingredient.
